Kaikoku Studio Terms of Service

Article 1: Purpose

These terms outline the rules for using the rental spaces provided by Kaikoku Studio (the "Studio").

Article 2: Services Provided

By agreeing to these terms, you can use the following services:

  • The rental studio spaces

  • Information provided on our website

  • Any related services provided by the Studio

Article 3: Contracts and Booking

You must read and agree to these terms to book the Studio. Bookings are made using the form on our website. The contract is final when we send the confirmation and payment email. You must pay in advance by bank transfer or credit card. You are responsible for any transfer fees.

Article 4: Prohibited Actions

You must not do the following:

  • Break the law or act against public order

  • Cause damage to the Studio or others

  • Interfere with our business or damage our reputation

  • Alter information provided by the service

  • Give false information

  • Transfer or lend your booking rights to others

  • Infringe on copyrights or intellectual property

  • Insult others or violate their privacy and property rights

  • Harass, threaten, or slander others

  • Perform political, religious, or criminal acts

  • Wear outdoor shoes inside the Studio

  • Smoke outside designated areas (you must pay cleaning fees if you smoke indoors)

  • Shoot pornography

  • Cause noise or vibrations like shouting, loud music, playing instruments, dancing, or running

  • Fail to finish loading, prepping, shooting, cleaning, and leaving within your booked time

  • Use fire, water, smoke, fake blood, or other special effects

  • Use hair color spray or anything that stains in the makeup room

  • Do anything else we decide is inappropriate

  • Note: We have no dress code. You can bring and wear any clothing you like.

Article 5: Liability During Use

Staff may be present but will not help with your shoot. You use the Studio at your own risk. We are not responsible for accidents, theft, loss, or damage to your gear or valuables unless we are highly at fault.

Article 6: Equipment

Using the equipment inside the Studio is included in your fee.

Article 7: Cleaning Up

Please keep the space clean. You must take home all items you brought, including large trash and drinks that do not fit in the bins.

Article 8: Damages

If you break or stain anything in the Studio, you must pay for repairs or a replacement.

Article 9: Refunds

If you cannot use the Studio during your booked time because of our mistake, we will give you a full refund. We will not pay for any other expenses.

Article 10: Studio Changes

We can expand, move, or close studios without asking for your permission.

Article 11: Notice of Changes

We will announce studio moves or closures on our website one week in advance. We do not need to give notice for natural disasters or landlord cancellations.

Article 12: Hosting Events

If you host an event at the Studio, you must do the following:

  • Decide the date, details, fees, and conditions

  • Run the event

  • Make sure participants follow these terms

  • Take full responsibility for all issues and accidents

    We are not responsible for your event.

Article 13: Lost Items

We will keep lost items for three months and then throw them away.

Article 14: Lost Item Liability

We will not pay you if your lost items are damaged by fire, theft, or other events.

Article 15: Cancellation Policy

We charge fees if you cancel or change your booking time. If you already paid, we will deduct the fee and refund the rest by bank transfer.

Time of Cancellation Fee Amount
20 - 11 days before 10% of total fee
10 - 4 days before 50% of total fee
3 - 2 days before 80% of total fee
1 day before or day of 100% of total fee

Article 16: Price Changes

We can change our prices online without notice. If you already paid, your old price stays valid, and we will not ask for more money or give a refund.

Article 17: Security Cameras

Some studios have security cameras to prevent crime and rule breaking. These studios will have signs posted. Video and audio are recorded and kept for a short time before being deleted. We will not give you the data. We can stop your shoot if we see dangerous or banned acts.

Article 18: Changes to Terms

We can change these terms at any time without asking you. By using the service, you agree to follow the new terms.

Article 19: Governing Law

These terms are governed by Japanese law.
